Armed bandits tied up an Upper East Side resident and doorman and made off with more than $10,000 in cash, gold and silver in a terrifying home invasion, police said.

The robbery unfolded just after 10:30 p.m. Sunday when four armed, masked men approached a 68-year-old man and used him to get into the 1080 Madison Avenue, police said.

Three of the armed men stormed into the lobby after the doorman saw the 68-year-old man and buzzed them into the condo building, Residence on Madison, cops said.

“Where is the vault?” one of the robbers said, according to cops.

The fourth man stayed outside as a lookout, while the other bandits took the 68-year-old and doorman to the ninth floor, where they tied the two up with sheets, according to police.

The bandits demanded the 68-year-old to open the safe, police said.

The victim, though, told the robbers he didn’t have one and offered instead the roughly $10,000 on the dinning room table along with gold and silver coins, according to cops. The robbers also stole the victims’ cellphones and wallets before taking off, police said.
