Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley capped off a second-team All-Pro season by helping his team to the AFC Championship game – and he did it with a broken fibula.

Beasley revealed to media on Monday that he broke his fibula in the Bills’ Week 16 victory over the Patriots. He sat out Week 17, but came back and played in all three of Buffalo’s playoff games.

“It was bad the first game I played but after that, you take a few meds and suck it up,” Beasley said, adding that it wasn’t a full break. He “felt it a bit in the Colts game but not as much in the last two.”

In the three games, Beasley racked up 145 yards on 14 catches. He had seven receptions in both the Bills’ games against the Colts and Chiefs, but was held without a catch in their Divisional Round matchup with the Ravens.

“There was no way I was gonna miss a playoff game,” Beasley said.

The Bills finished with a 13-3 record but fell to the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs in the AFC title game.
