The Lakers’ Big Two don’t sound overly worried about the Nets’ Big Three.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis briefly weighed in on the Nets’ acquisition of James Harden, which pairs the the 2018 MVP with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

“Don’t really have too much of a reaction. … Trades happened (Wednesday) and I couldn’t allow myself to indulge in that knowing that we had a game that we had to play tonight,” James said following the Lakers’ 128-99 thrashing of the Thunder.

That victory added to the Lakers’ NBA-best 10-3 start. They seem to be dealing well with any fatigue felt from playing into early October to claim the title in the NBA bubble. If the Nets’ new trio works as they hope, they could become the biggest NBA Finals threat to the Lakers.

Los Angeles dealt the death blow to the Harden era in Houston, eliminating the Rockets from the playoffs last season and then dominating them in back-to-back games this week. The second beatdown on Tuesday night led to a frustrated Harden saying the Rockets were not good enough to compete with the NBA’s elite in a cringe-worthy press conference.

A day later, the Rockets shipped him to Brooklyn for a stockpile of draft picks in a four-team trade.

“He got to one of his destinations,” Davis told reporters of Harden. “He wanted to play there. We’ll see how it goes. I mean, you know, KD and James played together in OKC, and then you add another guy in Kyrie. They lost some key players — Jarret Allen and Caris LeVert — but they look good on paper.

“We’ll see how it goes when those guys are get in between the lines and get a chance to play alongside each other.”
