TV crime queen Nancy Grace hailed a “Christmas miracle” as her 89-year-old mother was discharged from an Atlanta hospital where she’d been seriously ill with COVID-19 after it sickened the whole family.
“The good news is, my mother turned 89 in the COVID ward — but we just brought her home,” the 61-year-old host of “Injustice With Nancy Grace” said in an emotional video message on Twitter.
“She is with us, and we are all together. So thank you — thank you! — and Merry Christmas,” she said in the video that she captioned, “CHRISTMAS MIRACLE!” with her “Christmas prayers answered!”
Her mother, Elizabeth, was the first member of the household to test positive earlier this month after coughing and not wanting to eat for a few days, Grace’s CrimeOnline said.
The TV personality then tested positive after coming down with a cough and flu-like symptoms. Her 13-year-old twins, John David and Lucy Elizabeth, had sore throats, and her husband, David Linch, suffered a headache.
“I want to thank you so much for all of your prayers and good wishes while I and my family fought COVID and continue to fight it,” Grace said in her video.
