Miami Heat player Moe Harkless is helping to give 50 NYC families a slam-dunk holiday season.
The 27-year-old donated enough money Wednesday to the Last Resort Emergency Response Fund to help 50 local families with their rent.
We’re told that each family will get one month of rent covered — just in time for Christmas.
Harkless, who hails from Queens, told Page Six in a statement: “This means the world to me … to help me identify families from my hometown of Jamaica, Queens who are in need of having their rent covered during the holiday season who have been affected by COVID-19.”
We’re told that he also wanted to help families where he plays, and hosted a virtual food and gift drive to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami earlier this week.
